Sailesh Chittipeddi and Anand Chandrasekher Bring Extensive Expertise and Experience to Company’s Board
FREMONT, California, June 10th, 2019 – Avalanche Technology, the leader in next generation MRAM technology, today announced the addition of Sailesh Chittipeddi and Anand Chandrasekher to its Board of Directors.
Sailesh Chittipeddi is currently the Executive Vice-President of Renesas Electronics Corporation, Japan, responsible for the Broad-Based Unit, the Industrial Business Unit. He is also the President & CEO of Integrated Device Technology (a Renesas Company) and President of Renesas Electronics America. Prior to joining Renesas Electronics, Chittipeddi served as Executive Vice-President and CTO of IDT, running global operations, the PCIe and standard products group, and the IoT Systems group.
Chittipeddi serves on the Board of Directors of Tessolve as well as being a Board Observer for Blu Wireless, Peraso Technologies, Leddartech, and Anagog.
Chittipeddi has 5 degrees, including an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD in physics from The Ohio State University. He also has 64 U.S. patents related to semiconductor process, package and design, and nearly 40 published technical articles.
Anand Chandrasekher is a seasoned global operating and management executive with a track record for delivering innovation. During his 24-year tenure at Intel Corporation, Chandrasekher held a variety of roles including head of Intel’s mobile business, server and workstation business, global sales, and global marketing. Most recently, he was President of Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies, Inc. and Vice Chairman of Huaxintong Semiconductor, Inc., China.
Chandrasekher is a strategic advisor to UPmem, S.A., Tortuga Logic, and Dimensional Mechanics.
Chandrasekher received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Operations Research from Cornell University, as well as an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
