General Manager, Paul Chopelas, presented an updated roadmap at the RHET conference in Huntsville, AL last month, including several additions making waves:
- Space-targeted DDR4 solutions set to release mid-2025. In support of the industry’s increasing desire to eliminate radiation susceptible legacy memories, this first MRAM-based device set to replace DRAM (called Persistent DRAM), will be a DDR4 device at 8Gb. With all the benefits of Gen 3, these will provide a high reliability alternative to DRAM in support of rapid boot and execution memory functions, particularly useful for instant on applications such as hypersonics.
